Oil productsFor production of high-quality cooking oil so-called first pressing technology is used at the Oru oil mill. At application of this technology flocculated seed mass goes through snail-formed press once.

As a result thereof we get high-quality raw oil and oil cake – feed supplement rich in energy and protein.

Cooking oils

Cooking oils produced at the Oru oil mill using the first pressing technology are natural vegetable oils, which have not been chemically treated. Vegetable oils contain lecithin, protein, carbohydrates and natural colouring agents and perfumes. Before packaging, cooking oils are filtered by a frame filter. Natural raw oils are important sources of unsaturated fatty acids OMEGA 3(18:3 3), OMEGA 6 (18:2 6) and OMEGA 9 in human food.

Oil cake

At the first cold or hot pressing of oil-bearing crops seeds (rape, oil flax, sunflower) at our oil mill we get high-quality cooking oil and oil cake – fodder supplement rich in energy and protein. The oil content of the oil cake remains within 8-14% , depending on the quality and variety properties of seeds. Our flax cake contains on the average 8% of slimy substances, due to what it is widely applied as a fodder supplement with dietary properties for calves, cows etc.
